BIOSEV SA is a Brazil-based sugarcane processing company. It is engaged in the production, processing, and sale of sugarcane and its by-products. Biosev operates eight agroindustry units in the states of São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Minas Gerais as well as its terminal in the port of Santos in São Paulo. The company was established in 2000, In 2009 after the merger of LDC Bioenergia (owned by the Louis Dreyfus Company) with Santelisa Vale, an important sugarcane producer and processor in the interior of São Paulo state. Biosev currently sells its products in Brazil and over 30 countries in North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Oceania. Biosev generates 1,316 GWh of electricity from sugarcane bagasse, which makes all its mills self-sufficient. Biosev Bioenergia and its subsidiaries operate 5 plants. Biosev Signs Agreement with Raízen aiming for a corporate and Sustainable Expansion within the Sugar-Energy Sector.

Biosev is engaged in the production, processing, and sale of sugarcane and its by-products. Its operating segments are Sugar, Ethanol, Energy, and Other Products, of which key revenue is generated from the Sugar and Ethanol segment. The company’s sugar products consist of crystal sugar, liquid sugar, inverted liquid sugar, refined sugar, and VHP (very high polarization) sugar, and its ethanol products include hydrous ethanol, anhydrous ethanol, Neutral ethanol, and Fusel oil. The company’s geographical segments include Asia, North America, South America, Africa, and Europe. On June 15, 2003, the company unanimously agreed to extend their business relationship to trade with the following Brazilian products, Soya Bean, Corn, and Wheat PH 78.
